FREE CAPACITIES is a facility in which members which have temporary or permanent excess manufacturing or processing capacity are able to make this available to other members of the IndustriaGlobal community. The principle is simple. Sometimes companies do not fully utilise their equipment or machinery, perhaps because of a lack of orders or because their warehouse stock is at maximum levels. Failure to fully utilise this capacity is economically wasteful. Our facility enables a company to 'hire' out this excess capacity for profit to other companies whose existing capacity has been exceeded by the level of orders placed by their customers. If you place your excess capacity for offer in our SPARE CAPACITIES facility, this will be listed for a period of three months.
